The structure is completely open – without walls – and consists of several spaces distinguishable only by the level of the floor and the furnishings.  The entrance to the living area appears to be guarded by two life-size knights in shining armor and is decorated throughout with other assorted unique conversation pieces and collectibles including a Bacardi rum barrel fitted with an ornate silver-trimmed western saddle.  A mix of antiques, reproductions, and oversize furnishings are tastefully set in the uncluttered levels.

magnificent view of the rainforest, the sea, or the Jackson’s lush green farm peppered with hundreds of citrus, plantain, avocado, banana and breadfruit trees.

You can’t help but notice the very unusual arched mahogany doors with French panes that encircle the house or the western red cedar balusters on each of the many balconies that surround it.  From every angle in this tree house-like design there are assorted unique conversation pieces and surprising hidden spaces.

The rolling horse farm and residence’s name, Hacienda Siesta Alegre, loosely translates to a ranch where it is pleasant to nap.  This is such a peaceful and tranquil place to be…  The name really says it all.
